My Story

I fell in love with severe weather years ago when I found Dr. Reed Timmer's show 'Tornado Chasers' on YouTube. After finishing the series I signed up for Basic and Advanced SkyWarn training with the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids, MI, and began studying HAM Radio and meteorology on a non-professional level on my free time. This only inspired me further... I became hooked in the summer of 2020 when I began actually chasing storms in the field. It is my goal to provide 'Ground Truth' underneath the storms to the public and National Weather Service in the most professional and rapid way possible in an effort to save lives and protect property.

My favorite type of severe weather is line-embedded tornadoes within a Quasi-Linear Convective System. My favorite type of winter weather is an Ice Storm. I also enjoy a good High Wind event.
