The stretch of warmer weather that we have been enjoying across West Michigan will continue through the early part of this week.

Temperatures will soar well into the mid to perhaps the upper 70's today across the entire region. It will be mostly sunny and breezy today. Areas along and to the north of the US-10 corridor could see a brief rain shower but chances remain low.
Tomorrow will feature much of the same with breezy winds and slightly cooler temperatures.
Temps rebound into the low to mid 70's and much better chances for rain showers and even a few thunderstorms will exist from late in the day on Tuesday through Wednesday.
While some of the medium-range "Global" computer weather models previously suggested that a severe weather threat would exist with these storms this week those probabilities have dropped almost completely as the systems draw nearer. Not completely ruling out low severe chances but severe weather does not appear likely at this time.
Watching a colder trend for later this week and next weekend.
