Summary: The potential for snow days on Friday is too low to predict. Some districts may opt for delayed starts or other alternatives to snow days.
Discussion: We've seen some posts stating that roads are still in rough shape and asking about the potential for snow days tomorrow.
In our experience, snow days are much less likely after events are over - that is to say that ongoing snowfall has stopped, winter weather alerts have ended, and the forecast no longer calls for impactful winter weather.
It is much more likely that schools, especially rural districts, will opt for delayed starts or to run their buses on paved roads only in these scenarios.
While we won't totally rule out snow days tomorrow, we believe that the potential is probably too low to see any form of predictable amount of snow days.
That is why there is no official School Closing Outlook for Friday.
