Looks like a typical spring forecast this week with various weather conditions forecasted throughout the week.


Looks like a typical spring forecast this week with various weather conditions forecasted throughout the week.

Monday will feature mostly cloudy skies as the areas of sunshine are replaced with a cloud layer as the afternoon goes on today. Rain chances will increase during the afternoon and through the overnight hours and some snow could mix in for the northern areas. Some non-zero chances for a rumble of thunder or two will exist this afternoon for southern areas.


Tuesday will feature rain showers for a majority of the day with some chances for thunder in the afternoon. Temperatures quickly fall from the lower 50's into the low 30's as rain continues Tuesday night.


As temperatures fall Tuesday night we'll start to see rain transition to snow. Wednesday will continue the wetter and colder trend with all snow, possibly with some accumulations Wednesday morning before temperatures warm towards the 40's and snow is replaced with rain.


Range of 20 to 80 percent risk of accumulating snow for all of the WMIWX Forecast area per the NWS in Grand Rapids

Temperatures will begin to gradually rise and precipitation will move out of the area to end the week.
